#Vastu For Home – Puja Room
Now, lts understand how Puja room should
be? We know that Puja room is the most
auspicious room in the house. Our all worship we are doing there and we keep
our religious texts, idols there so it should be protected from negative
energy. And Puja room will attract and bring positive energy in the house.
- As per vastu North-East direction is best for Puja room.
- Puja room should be on the ground floor.
- In the big factories and homes, Puja room should be placed in the centre that is very auspicious.
- Idols should put in East or West direction in Puja room.
- High quality two shutter wood door should be kept for the prayer room.
- White or light yellow coloured marble work in prayer room makes it more auspicious.
- Puja Room can have doors and windows in north or east walls.
- If the Puja room is in pyramid shape it is very auspicious.
- It is good to use white and yellow colour for Puja room.
- Place the idols a few inches (at least an inch) away from wall.
- If the prayer area is in kitchen then keep it in the north-east corner of kitchen; you should face east while praying.
- Do not have Puja place in a store-room.
- Avoid to put Puja room under staircase.
- Never keep broken idols.
- Do not hang photos of animals and birds in the Puja place.
- Never keep a dustbin in the Puja place; it reduces positive energy of the room.
- Women should not enter the prayer room during menses.
